Zhangye Danxia in China has been voted one of the “six most beautiful landforms” by the Chinese National Geography Magazine. Due to their colours the are also called the Rainbow Mountains.
WHEN TO VISIT
First of all: Sunshine! Make sure you get a lot of sunshine the day you want to visit.
Secondly: We recommend you to either go early in the morning or the late afternoon in order to try and beat the crowd.
